A study of drawing in different media stressing draftsmanship and creative interpretation. Special emphasis will be placed on understanding the figure and portraiture. In addition to studio work, group discussions and critiques will be provided. Please note: This course requires working from the nude figure. Participation is required in all sessions working from a live, nude model. Please consult with your advisor to choose another Art course if you are unable to commit to paint/draw from a nude model of either gender, for any reason.
