The PA Benefits Center has been discontinued as of August 23, 2024. This benefits resource has been replaced by the Personal Navigator Program of VNA-Community Services, Inc. 

Many community college students are eligible for public benefits that can help pay for food, healthcare, childcare and more. ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ has teamed up with the Visiting Nurses Association– Community Services to support you in applying for public benefits.

What is the Personal Navigator Program?

The Personal Navigator Program of VNA-Community Services, Inc. is a benefits access program committed to helping connect individuals and families to benefits that improve health, increase food security and economic stability through program eligibility determination, application assistance and utilization support.

The Personal Navigator Program is staffed with compassionate navigators who are trained in assisting individuals by screening for up to 22 benefit programs, including SNAP, CHIP, Medical Assistance, PENNIE, Health Insurance Marketplace, LIHEAP, Child Care Subsidies, Property Tax & Rent Rebate, health insurance counseling and more.

Students and/or their families should call 1-800-591-8234 for more information or to schedule an appointment with a Personal Navigator OR .

Please note, you should receive a call in 2-3 business days after completing the registration page.

Who is eligible for the Personal Navigator Program?

Must be a Montgomery County resident; ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ students and their families can use this resource to help them meet their basic needs.

Any Montgomery County resident can be screened for eligibility and enrollment for up to 22 public benefits; once screened, eligible residents will receive assistance with public benefits applications.

Why contact the VNA-CS Personal Navigator Program?

The Personal Navigator Program offers a streamlined application process that makes it possible to apply for multiple benefits over the phone at one time, instead of calling or visiting multiple agencies.

Personal Navigators help to understand how to find and prepare any documentation that is needed for a benefit application; and they conduct ongoing follow-up to ensure that applications are successfully submitted.

It’s free and easy to apply. Call or for an intake. A Personal Navigator will connect with you in 2-3 business days to review your eligibility for benefits and assist you with the application process.
